MoistureTek™ Specification
The MoistureTek moisture vapor barrier is a 2-part epoxy that reduces moisture vapor transmission to <3 lbs. / 1000 sq.ft. per 24 hours. You may apply MoistureTek 24 hours after a concrete pour. MoistureTek will withstand 100% RH, 25 lbs. CaCl and 14 pH, which eliminates the need for testing. MoistureTek will not withstand hydrostatic pressure. No moisture testing is required. This 2-part epoxy may be applied to concrete as early as 24 hours after the pour. Eight hours after application, any adhesive or flooring may be installed.
